In December 2024, Renata Montenegro was selected as Photographer of the Month by Foto Féminas, a platform dedicated to making visible the work of women photographers from Latin America and the Caribbean.

Renata, a visual artist and documentary photographer, creates images that explore personal stories through visual metaphors. Her poetic approach allows for a deep reflection on issues of identity, society and autobiography, connecting with the viewer in an emotional way.
